Quick guidelines for using Quill in popular video platforms
Zoom
If required in your region, notify others that you're using Quill. For example:
"Do you mind if I transcribe to take notes?"
or
"Do you mind if I use Quill, a local AI note-taker?"
You can also change your display name to include "Quill" via the Zoom web client.
Google Meet
If required in your region, notify others that you're using Quill. For example:
"Do you mind if I transcribe to take notes?"
or
"Do you mind if I use Quill, a local AI note-taker?"
You can also change your display name to include "Quill". Go to your Google Account and update your nickname.
Note: If you're using Google Workspace and can't edit your nickname, an admin can enable it under admin.google.com > Directory > Directory settings > Profile editing > Name.
Microsoft Teams (Guest)
If required in your region, notify others that you're using Quill. For example:
"Do you mind if I transcribe to take notes?"
or
"Do you mind if I use Quill, a local AI note-taker?"
You can change your display name when joining the meeting to include "Quill".
Microsoft Teams (Admin)
If your Microsoft account is managed by an administrator, ask them to update your display name to include "Quill".
